Borderlink, Inc. is now hiring an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) for Chuo City, Tokyo. This position starts from January 2025, but you can apply now to secure it in advance. 【Position Details】
Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) work alongside Japanese teachers to make English lessons fun and engaging for the students. Practicing grammar and vocabulary, participating in games and activities to reinforce the lesson’s goals and communicating with students both inside and outside of the classroom are all part of a day’s work for ALTs.

⚫ Contract period: January 8th, 2025 to March 25th, 2025
⚫ Contract type: Full-Time
⚫ Level: Junior high school
⚫ General working hours: Between 8:00 am to 17:00 pm (actual working time: 7 hours 30 minutes)
⚫ Salary range: 244,100 yen (monthly rate)
⚫ Benefits: Social Insurance

【Requirements】
ALTs should be motivated, enthusiastic, professional and proactive in communicating with others. Successful applicants must also meet the following criteria:

🔺 Already be living in Japan and hold a valid visa permitting work
🔺 Be a university graduate holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
🔺 Have conversational Japanese skills and be comfortable talking with teachers and staff
🔺 Have native-level English proficiency with natural phonetic fluency and a minimum of 12 years of education where the main language of instruction in all classes was English
🔺 Are in good health and able to commit and complete the contract period (until March 2025)
🔺 Highly motivated, outgoing and friendly; able to proactively share ideas and communicate fully with other teachers
🔺 Have at least 1 year of ALT experience at junior high school

【Requirements】
🔺 Hold a teaching certificate (such as TESOL/TEFL)
