About

The second-most populous prefecture in Japan, Kanagawa sits along the coast just south of Tokyo. To the east is its capital city of Yokohama, home to a large Chinatown and the Sanbashi Pier, a waterside area full of nautical flair. To the northeast is the industrial city of Kawasaki which borders Tokyo. Further to the west are historical areas like Kamakura and Hakone, featuring ancient castles and scenic views of Mount Fuji. With a large portion of it being coastal, Kanagawa is a great place for those who love the beachside life, be it surfing the waves of simply laying on the sand.
