【About Chiba City (千葉県千葉市)】
Chiba City is the capital of Chiba Prefecture and about 40 km east of Tokyo. It's also one of the Kanto region's primary seaports, giving the city a nautical atmosphere akin to other port cities like Yokohama and Kobe. A heavily residential area, there are also several major urban centers across the city, including the famous Makuhari Messe. Chiba City is famous for the Chiba Urban Monorail, the longest suspended monorail in the world. Other sights of interest include:

Chiba Shrine- a landmark with over a thousand years of history. Myoken, the North Star deity which the ancient Chiba Clan worshipped, is enshrined here and protects over the city. Unlike the major shrines in cities like Tokyo and Kyoto, where you'll likely be funneled into a crowd of other tourists, here you'll be free to explore the shrine grounds and discover its hidden charms at your leisure.

Chiba Folk Museum AKA Chiba Castle - the museum was built to resemble a traditional Japanese castle, hence its nickname "Chiba Castle." The museum's exhibits occupy five of the castle's floors, featuring historical materials and artifacts related to Chiba City. On the top floor an observation deck awaits, offering a full panorama view of the city!

Nighttime at Chiba Port Tower - Chiba Port Tower is Chiba's highest lookout point. While a bit more quaint than Tokyo Tower or Sky Tree, the souvenir shop on the bottom floor and expansive views accentuated by the sea make it an experience you can only get here on the corner of Chiba's main port. Like other lookout towers, you'll have a panoramic view of the surrounding area, with coin operated binoculars at the most picutresque points.

Transportation in and out of the city is easy, and whether you're going down the coast for sun and surfing or westward for a trip into Tokyo, Chiba City is a great place to live and work.

【About Higashi-Osaka City (大阪府東大阪市)】
In 1967, a merger of three cities resulted in the creation of Higashi-Osaka (East Osaka), a populous and industrialized area that is situated right next to the central Osaka metropolis. This makes it the ideal place to live for those who love Kansai's cultural hub. Travel in and out of Higashi-Osaka is a breeze thanks to the many train lines that run through it, and a short ride to the west will take you right into downtown Osaka. On the eastern side, one can find many green parks and mountains, beyond which lies the ancient capital of Nara.

Higashi-Osaka is famous for its rugby culture, with Higashi-Osaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium being a major attraction. If you want something a little more traditional, check out the Kōnoike Shinden Kaisho ruins or Hiraoka Shrine. Chosen as a filming location for one of the prestigious morning dramas produced by NHK, Higashi-Osaka is a lively and bustling area located between some of the most exciting parts of Japan. 【About Yashio City (埼玉県八潮市)】
Yashio City is the very model of suburban comfort in the Kanto area. About 30 minutes from central Tokyo by train, and situated between the cities of Soka and Misato, it's a great place to work, whether you're commuting in or already living there. With easy access to parts of Tokyo like Ueno and Akihabara, fun and excitement is never far away. For something a bit closer, Frespo Yashio is a 3-story modern shopping center right next to Yashio Station on the Tsukuba Express Line. The city also has many parks for when you just need some fresh air and space. Living in southern Saitama also offers one lower rent prices than they'd find for less space in Tokyo itself. If you're looking for a quieter area close to the biggest city in Japan that allows you to save some money, Yashio City is the place to go.

【About Kashiba City (奈良県香芝市)】
Located in northwest Nara Prefecture, Kashiba is a small suburban city with a relaxed atmosphere. Largely consisting of flat farmland, it is an easy area to navigate the urban center by car due to its grid-like layout, which is common throughout this region. Among the local attractions in the area are Donzurubo,a geological curiosity of folded limestone that allows for some spectacular views. There's also Kitsui Shiroyama Tomb, the keyhole-shaped tumulus believed to have been built around the 5th-6th centuries. One of the most unusual and charming sights in Kashiba is a small hut along Naga Pond where a family of sheep are maintained. Make Kashiba your next teaching destination today!
